Reading Festival: Tell me if this sounds unfair!

So i was just minding my own business and then i was hearing about a Music Festival in Reading,England. After hearing about this, i decided to google it and realize that this is probably going to be the best show of life and i'm missing it. Why did i have to be a Canadian. I so wished i was from England and had an English accent. This Festival is also three days. Just look at the line and tell me if this sounds unfair compared to any other festival.

There's other bands on there too such as 3oh!3,Alkaline Trio and the great punk band that influenced many Bad Religion. That is B@#$%^&*! It's like Woodstock all over again. Why can't we have a festival like that in Canada and not warped tour. Don't get me wrong, i liked the warped tour in 2010 and it had a great line up but i just wished that we could have a festival like this with all the famous bands that i like especially Blink-182. If any of you guys are from England and happen to see the show, tell me all about it. How did the bands play, what kind of songs did the certain bands play, how long and etc.

Dive into:A Day To Remember

Before i tell you about today's band, I just wanted to tell you guys that i screwed up. Bring me the Horizon's Single "It Never Ends" is not from suicide season however you can find "It Never Ends" on BMTH's new album which comes out on October 4 and it's called "There is a Hell,Believe me i've seen it. There is a Heaven,Let's Keep it a Secret". Now that i got that out of the way,let me introduce to you guys to another band you may or may not have heard of? What happens when you mix Pop Punk with Metalcore? You get the original and awesome sound of A Day To Remember.

Band:A Day To Remember
Genere:Pop Punk/Metalcore/Post Hardcore/Emo
Band members:
Jeremy McKinnon - lead vocals (2003–present)
Neil Westfall - rhythm guitar, backing vocals (2003–present)
Kevin Skaff - lead guitar, vocals (2009–present)
Joshua Woodard - bass guitar (2004–present)
Alex Shelnutt - drums, percussion (2006–present)

Who would have ever thought that Pop Punk and Metalcore Music would work. ADTR is a band from Ocala, Florida. The Band started out in 2003 and then progress their way. So far,the band has been very successful not only in terms of lyrics and songs, but they're also selling out shows. The band get's there awesome sound by influenced by great bands such as Blink-182,New Found Glory,NoFX,Bury your Dead and Unbroken wounds. I should personally say that this is one of my favorite bands at least on my top 20 favorite bands. ADTR has made three albums and out of those albums, i liked two of them.

The First Album that i liked was ADTR's second album and it was called "For those who have heart" I really liked this album because of it's awesome breakdowns and it's terrific Chorus'. I also like this album because it has cover song in it. The cover song is "Since U Been Gone" originally by Kelly Clarkson and the ADTR version is way better then the Kelly Clarkson version by a mile.

The Second Album that i liked from ADTR is called "Homesick" which is my favorite album by them. My Favorite songs on this album have to be "The Downfall of us all","Mr.Highway's Thinking about the End" and "Have Faith in Me". I also like the cover art on the album its so sick and represents everything about feeling homesick.

Speaking of Art,ADTR also makes the best band t-shirts ever,i'm not kidding. Here are a few images for what they look like. Most of the T-Shirts are usually influenced by videogames, movies, etc.A couple are Donkey Kong eating junk food and the other is Pac man getting the s@#$ kicked out of him.

ADTR also did a cover of "Over my head(Cable Car)" from the Fray which was again better then the Fray. This band is a good example for why some people might want to put pop music aside and listen to straight up rock. ADTR is also in the production of making their 4th album and it should be in stores on October 26.I'm so stoked. Both ADTR and BMTH are going to be in stores in October. I can't wait but at the same time, i do need to watch out for what i spend. Should i buy BMTH or ADTR. If you guys have ever listened to these bands which i recommend that you should, then tell me your opinion and then follow me on blogger.com

Dive into:Bring me the horizon

Today was a pretty interesting day. Not only did i realize that i had jack F!@# in my bank account but i also like another band that i'm beginning to fancy. Once again, i'm getting more into rock 'n' roll music and starting to like a band that i'm totally getting use to but today it wasn't a punk rock group considering that i'm a very big fan of punk rock. This one is kind of heading into the direction of Metalcore music. So what is this band you may ask? Bring me the horizon.

Band:Bring on the Horizon
Genere:Metalcore
Band Members
Oliver Sykes – lead vocals (2004–present)
Lee Malia − lead guitar (2004–present)
Matt Kean − bass guitar (2004–present)
Matt Nicholls − drums, percussion (2004–present)
Jona Weinhofen - rhythm guitar, keyboards, programming, vocals (2009–present)

According to the band, the band got their name from the very famous movie,Pirates of the Carribean:the curse of the black pearl only in the movie where Captain Jack Sparrow says "Bring me that horizon", the band changed that into "Bring me the Horizon". The band started sometime in 2004 at Sheffield,England. Once they gotten their success from the UK, The got a record deal from Epitaph Records in the united states. Ever since then, People have Mixed feelings for BMTH. You ethier love the band or hate it. To prove that, the band was awarded for best british newcomer in 2006. In 2008 however, it was voted as the worst band of 2008 so i guess you can see why. I can understand why people would hate them. When i first heard them, i hated them but after a while, i went from hating this band to getting use to them to liking them. The song that made me reconsider was "The Comedown" from BMTH album "Suicide Season"

There are plenty of other hits such as "Chelsea's Smile", The Sadness will Never end","It Never Ends" and "Diamonds aren't forever" which was also inspiried by a famous James Bond Line. It looks like that BMTH is definetly worth it. If you ever hated BMTH, Give it a second chance. Anyways this is HostileBelief signing out.
